Dues Check Off Form. prepared and presented to Company for Sep. 16, 2022, withdrawals. Pilots notified via TAPA Telegram website and by Company to complete DCO form. Agency Shop fee provision for pilot election to auto deduct or for TAPA to invoice each month. Add $15 / pay period or $30 per month fee / each pilot for TAPA to invoice. Dues 1.5% of gross mo. Salary. No dues / agency shop fees on Per Diem or Expenses.
Late Payroll Data. from the Company. John Chabriel, Payroll Committee Chairman emailing DCO forms and Pro Con letter. Discuss DCO forms. Collection action & approval of Ewing Group, PA (KFLL) for TAPA collections.
Pro Con Letter. Distributed via Telegram and emailed to non-DCO pilots on DCO fees v. Agency Shop. Same rate of pay deduction. DCO saves $15 fee per pay period or mail in. $250 fee / legal letter fee from Ewing Group, PA.
Status of OSHA - ADR & FAA investigation. Investigation started; on interim HOLD with FAA / OSHA, pending Company acceptance or rejection of ADR Proposal to Settle, sent from TAPA to Company. “Significant or Novel” re-classification of case at FAA by references contained in 21 Air’s CPO termination letter.
Memorialize all Deals. TAPA “deals or agreements”by letter or email. [Ie. “Miami” CPO understandings]
ADR Settlement Proposal. TAPA made to Company, copied to OSHA on Oct. 12. Three (3) Addendums, including LOA agreement, TAPA anti-harassment with5-Star preferential hiring agreement.
TAPA Safety Management System (SMS) Compliance. 14 CFR 5, Capt. Charles Casmir, on non-retaliatory reporting structure. SMS / CRM compliance discussion, returning management pilots (MPs) to Line Operations. Tabled issue of CRM training by DO / Management, “Never reviewed or hired as Line pilots.” ie. out of seniority upgrades to Captain, LCA or Sim Instructors, absent line seasoning or industry experience. Demonstrated ability v. Simulator Check pilot discussion with FAA. Discuss ERC and legal agreement with FAA for ASAP program.
ERC Member. Capt. Tony Bless, VP, Nominated / Accepted to be ASAP - ERC member for TAPA pilots. ASAP program to be signed by TAPA President, upon SMS review and ADR Settlement proposal.
Secretary-Treasurer (S/T) Nominations. Nominations open for a three (3) yr. term. All pilots welcome to nominate candidates; currently TAPA acting S/T is Andrew Saridakis. Nominations close, Nov. 15, 2022.
TAPA Duty Days. BPR President to provide active list of necessary days for TAPA work, in accordance with CBA. TAPA Website Pilot volunteers needed to work. Currently for Communications Committee; Web Administrator.
